In southern Turkey, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, is the province of Alanya, a place of great historical value by the number of times you served as a reference for the empires of the Mediterranean, as were the empires Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman.

For example, around the historic city center are three massive walls which were built in the twelfth century by the Seleucids, a Hellenistic empire. These structures are well preserved.

From the port of Alanya you can rent boats to explore places like the Cave of Phosphorous Cave Girls, Lovers Cave and Cave Damlatas, which result from the rock formation of the Turkish coast. It is also advisable to go to the highest parts of the city, where you can see panoramic views of the city and the beaches that border.

The nightlife is also very active in this place, especially in the summer months, which increases the number of tourists and Alanya night becomes more crowded. Also many places to go shopping in search of all kinds of garments and accessories from the best European brands.

Whether it’s historical value or beauty spot, Alanya has become a time now in one of the most visited of the Mediterranean, so it is advisable to choose this city as a destination for a great vacation.
