My holiday in Charm el Sheikh was charming. You can’t help but love charm el Sheikh, it’s absolutely beautiful with that .dramatic landscape We splurged and stayed at the Iberotel IL Mercato, a new five star hotel where everything was perfect. It wasn’t too much of a splurge considering it really was an excellent 5 star experience and it wasn’t any more expensive than a nice three star hotel in other beach resorts.
We were right in the centre of Il Mercato Promenade on my holiday in Charm el Sheikh, I had no idea that we would be so close to all that great shopping. Honestly, it was difficult to leave the hotel most days. There were 3 beautiful pools to relax by and the hotel run a free shuttle bus to a private beach so if I headed out, I usually went there. The area has some fantastic golf courses nearby, next holiday I swear I’m going golfing.
If you think about going yourself, check out the five star hotels with all inclusive options. They are well below what you would expect in price and once you get there, you’ll be really grateful for the free drinks, especially the non-alcoholic ones. Its too hot to think about drinking alcohol, but the other free drinks are a necessity all day long, so go all inclusive.
