Notre Dame CathedralThe Cathedral of Notre Dame is one of the points if you are forced to walk through the French capital. This cathedral is at the heart of Paris, on an island on the river Seine, known as City Island (Ile de I quoted), where there are also other ancient monuments, including the prison of the Conciergerie and the Holy Chapel (Sainte Chapelle).

The construction of the cathedral of Notre-Dame took place between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries (from 1163 to 1345 in particular), and the project is of Maurice de Sully. It features a virtuoso with his old Gothic windows and a spectacular central tower, added years after its construction. The building was dedicated to St. Mary Mother of Jesus Christ, being a compound of the allegorical history of France, being the scene of numerous events, altering according to the period decor and architectural styles of the same.

Displays two symmetrical towers extraordinary about 70 meters in height, which are home to each of its sides, giving the building its profile in which prevailing reductionist basic forms and harmonics.
